It couldn’t be simpler.  HE Business Directory is designed for ease of use.  Once registered, it only takes a few minutes to create your listing, and maintaining it is also a breeze with your very own administrative console.  Follow the steps below to get started!


Simply click REGISTER (highlighted in RED above) on the HE Business Directory Homepage.

You will be directed to the registration page.  Simply enter a username and your email address.  A password will be mailed to you.  Once you receive the password, simply login on the homepage.

The Administration Panel

After you register and log in, you will be greeted with your Administration Panel, from which you can then edit your personal info (which includes the ability to change your password), post a new listing, view all of your published listings, and generally manage everything associated with your account.  Explore each of the menu options to see what’s available for you.  Each is easy to understand, but if you have any questions, contact us.

Creating Your Listing

From your Administration Panel, select Post New Listing to get started!  Fill out each field as needed.  Your listing title would be Your Company Name (i.e.: HE Business Directory).  From the category drop-down box, select the option that best fits your company.  Under Address/Zip, type in your complete address (Street/City/State/Zip).  If you have a video you’d like to share from YouTube, enter it, otherwise you may leave that field blank.  Of course, you will want your website URL, and as for Description, enter as much information as you like about Your Company.  Although not pictured on the screen below, you may also enter your Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn sites (there is no need to use http://www…for example, use this format:,, etc.).  Within the Tags field, simply type the keywords you’d like, separated by commas.  You may leave this field blank, however, as HE Business Directory is SEO optimized, this will  be helpful in getting your listing found with the major search engines!

As you continue to the next step, this is where you upload your digital images and PDF file.  Make sure you have your media ready for upload.  We are planning to allow more file uploads in the future (PDF, ZIP, DOC, etc.).  When you select CHOOSE for each field, you can browse your computer for images.  It’s important to note that the FIRST image field should be your company logo (for best results, make sure your logo fits a 249px by 169px frame).  Fill out the remaining fields, and move on to the next step, where you will review your listing before publishing.
